E\u00e9n voertuig kwam vanuit de richting Veenendaal en de ander vanuit de richting Rhenen en wilde linksaf de Veenendaalsestraatweg in richting Elst. Een aanrijding was het gevolg waarbij \u00e9\u00e9n bestuurder gewond raakte. Aanvankelijk leek de gewonde bestuurder bekneld te zitten waarvoor de brandweer werd gealarmeerd. Het slachtoffer kon echter toch op eigen kracht het voertuig verlaten en werd per ambulance overgebracht naar het ziekenhuis.<\/p>\n<p>Beide voertuigen raakten zwaar beschadigd. De kruising is enige tijd afgesloten geweest voor alle verkeer wat voor veel vertraging zorgde tijdens de spits.
