Daarbij is een signalement van een wegrijdende auto doorgegeven. Kort na de 2e melding zag de politie de verdachte auto rijden en gaf een stopteken, waarna de auto er op hoge snelheid ervandoor ging. Na een achtervolging botste de auto op de Holleweg in Veenendaal op geparkeerde auto&#8217;s. De drie inzittenden zijn daarna aangehouden, twee van hen moesten naar het ziekenhuis voor controle. Het gaat om een 25 en een 29 jarige man uit Veenendaal en een 55 jarig man zonder vaste woon- of verblijfplaats.
