In afremmend verkeer voor de verkeerslichten bij de Bergweg, is de motorrijder ten val gekomen en heeft in de val een tegemoetkomende auto geraakt. Vanwege de ernst van de verwondingen van de motorrijder, zijn 2 ambulances en een traumahelikopter te plaatse gekomen. Het slachtoffer is met spoed naar het ziekenhuis\u00a0 vervoerd. Een berger heeft de motor en auto afgevoerd. Gedurende de afhandeling van het ongeval was de Lijnweg dicht tussen de verkeerslichten bij de Bergweg en de verkeerslichten bij het viaduct.
