De hulpdiensten zijn massaal aanwezig, meerdere ambulances, een traumahelicopter en diverse brandweer eenheden uit Veenendaal en Rhenen zijn ter plaatse. De weg is volledig afgesloten tussen de rotonde met Rondweg Oost en de rotonde bij de Geertesteeg.
