Het ongeval gebeurde rond 10.00 uur ter hoogte van Klein Dikkenberg richting Rhenen. Een afslaand voertuig werd door een achteropkomend voertuig te laat opgemerkt. Door de klap schoot de voorste auto naar voren een droge sloot in. Nadat het slachtoffer door omstanders uit het voertuig was gehaald werd zij door het ter plaatse gekomen ambulancepersoneel verpleegd en overgebracht naar het ziekenhuis.<\/p>\n<p>Door het ongeval ontstond er een opstopping voor het verkeer richting Rhenen.
